  1. Great recommendations! I've been wanting to try and read "Anna Karenina" for a while now, as I liked the other Russian novel I've read - have you read "Crime and Punishment"?

  2. Oh, this is fun! I am gripped with a sudden urge to re-read Anne of Green Gables. And Little Women. And I *wish* I had time to read a Russian novel.

I hope your fall is off to a lovely start!

  3. I just finished Jane Eyre, and revisited the Scarlet Pimpernel recently. Autumn nights are perfect for late night reading and ignoring much needed sleep.

  5. What lovely choices! I am, serendipitously enough, re-reading Jane Eyre right now for school, and re-remembering what a great book it is. (I read Frankenstein for school before that...I didn't find it so much scary or creepy as just so FRUSTRATING. But another day to rant about what an idiot Frankenstein is. :P)

I love the new blog look, by-the-by! :D
